Hi and welcome to Viking Photography Largs website.
My name is Mark Lynch, I am a keen photographer of landscapes. I am currently studying photography HNC HND at Kilwinning College. What drew me back to photography initially was my Dogue de Bordeaux “Shug”. I joined Facebook and became part of the Dogue de Bordeaux community online. I was amazed at the photography on display within the community.
I purchased a small point and shoot camera which was great in the beginning, however, I just wasn’t able to get the shots I wanted, so I invested in a DSLR , it was here that my photographic journey and love for photography was rekindled.
So, after a couple of years on the amateur circuit, and doing well both online and at club level, I decided to take the next step and to start to make a living from my photography work. Since making the switch, I have some of my images exhibiting in the Fishworks on Largs seafront and The Chefs eye Restraunt in Largs. Also, a selection of my work is to be published in a forthcoming publication Hopes of a Nation by Callum Smith. I also have an Image displayed currently at the Harbour arts Centre in Irvine as part of a college exhibition.
I have photographed events such as Birthday parties, Wedding Functions, Marketing, Documentary and Corporate shoots as well as studio and location portraits.
As I have mentioned, it was through my Dogue de Bordeaux, Shug, that my love for photography was rekindled, (see some images on the page dedicated to Shug).
This is something I’d like to offer others who also love their pets and would like to capture the special moments and the bond between them. Photographs can be taken in their favourite places. I can also offer studio portraits or location shoots.
